Leader: Zina Barkauskienė

The folk music band was created in January, 2004. It consists of 7 musicians who, according to the leader, are very lively, friendly and creative. The band takes part in the events organised not only by the leisure time hall, but also in the district and outside it.

In 2007 they participated in Alytus county folk music band selection to the Republic Folk Music Festival – Contest „Grok, Jurgeli“. Also they participated in Republican Song Festival „Būties ratu“ in Vilnius, in July. In traditional Lazdijai district folk music band festival-contest „Netgi vakaruškos“,which took place in Veisiejai, the band „Svaja“ won the The Best Vocalist title.
